Curiouser and curiouser...
Apr. 29th, 2007 01:17 amThe first thing that happened is that for whatever crazy, cooked up scheme of a reason, Daylight Savings Time was bumped up. what was it? 2 weeks? Naturally we all went through that lovely period of switching our clocks, forgetting to change one or the other, depending on how many clocks you have (there are 4 in my room alone, if you don't count the TV and the stereo or watches). Now, through all that, most people tend to ignore thier computer clock(throw that into my if you don't count category) you run on the assumption that it updates itself. It's supposed to, it's a computer dangit! but for some extremely strange reason, the computer clock dosen't want to update, at all. after about 2 weeks or so of stareing at my computer clock and then stareing at the clock on my pen cup I finnally got fed up with the whole mess of haveing to remind myself that my computer was still an hour behind. So I set it forward the nessisary hour and figured whatever, it was a wierd fluke and pretty much erased the whole thing from my brain.
It's....someone do the math for me, I can't remember how many weeks it's been, but within the last 2 weeks or so I got asked to update something on my computer, something I cleared before I hit ok, whatever it was. I just realized last night that for whatever reason that the program update thinks, my computer clock is an hour behind again...behind but ahead...*shakes head* I usually set my pen cup by my computer clock....annnywaaay, excuse my random sidethoughts.
The main reason I started this little ramble here is cause I was wondering if anybody elses computer was doing this to them? I keep forgetting to ask any of my class members, but then I try to save my chatting for after class, as I have a tendency to get loud when I'm excited about a topic. I think the only reason my friend and I didn't get into trouble in my SOC class on thursday was because the teacher was marking down grades on the tests he was handing back.
I keep getting off topic here. as far as I know, my computer is doing this and so is my mothers, I'm guessing if my brothers or his wifes did it, my brother just changed them to the right time and ignored it, cause he's like that. Pity none of my chat buddies are on so I can ask them while I'm thinking of it.
ChibiEdo or Jet, since you the only ones likely to read this in the near future, let me know ok. *grins* that is if you understand what I'm asking in my random babble method.
