Really?

I find it rather amusing that when the second part of a fic was posted, I could not remember if I'd read the first part, and upon reading the first few lines of the first part, it feels like I read it eons ago even though the first part was only posted about a month ago. XD.

So, the thing that I ranted about in this post? now they've gone from arguing over too many messages being posted, to all but turning on themselves.

We have what's called a CT/FR Liason

CT = Culture Treaty's

FR = Friends Requests

to cut down on those "too many messages" going around, we've been asked to send a note to her, letting her know we have one or the other available, and she puts out a messages wit a list of people looking, both inside and outside our alliance, for either of those spaces to be filled

Sounds simple enough, right?

so, some people ignore the fact that it's her job, everyone knows this, because we see the cirrculars they send out about the topic. this was kinda ok, the CT/FR Liason sent out a note saying if they didn't send a message to her asking, she wouldn't include theirs on the list, fair enough.

so, this month is the month of Ramadan, which our CT/FR Liason observes. She let everyone know politely that she did, that because of it, it's a busy month for her, and that she'd try to make the daily posing as usual, but apologized that it might be late, or might not be able to get posted some days, depending on how things went.

so, somewhere along the point, as with everyone, something broke.

this morning, there was a post from our CT/FR Liason stating that given that more people have taken it upon themselves to post their own CT and FR requests themselves, and that several members have been rude to her in the course of her running this service, that she was taking the rest of Ramadan off from doing the service.

She also said that if we want her back, she would expect to have everyone respect her, and he service she offers. I personally don't blame her, and said so in a alliance wide message I sent shortly after I read her message

Now I kind of wish that I'd said something earlier when it first started to bother me, not that I wold have been heard then, but there's that little nag of "what if" that likes to say something, even if it's just in a whisper.
