15 seconds of fame?
So, my sister in law Liz has RA, has had the fuller blown symptoms of it since around the time she had her son, almost 5 years (interestingly, her symptoms virtually disappeared while she was pregnant with him, go figure)
This past Wednesday she was "on" The Doctors. The clip they play of her "story" is about half way through.
Naturally, we, who've been around her while she's been dealing with this know there's so much more to the story(like the reason why they actually used her as the person for the clip in the show) Its still really cool when you know someone who was on tv XD.

Are those her xrays? If so, has she had joint surgery yet? I've had several, and it is so much better now. I can even brush my own teeth now :D

As far as I know, those are not her x-rays, as none of her fingers seem that out of shape. She was able to enter a drug study not long after she was diagnosed, and it has done wonders, you almost wouldn't know she had RA(if you didn't know her, or see the scads of pills she takes)
That's why they used her for the clip. They picked her and another lady to talk about their stories, both before and after entering the study, as they're getting ready to get the drug approved for general use.
