cause I'm too tired to tell full story's, but not tired enough to head to bed yet. well...and most of it is you had to be there stuff too.

every year for the past several years, we've rented a cotton candy machine, and strangely enough, its almost always been either raining or really really humid, and the cotton candy melts on the stick before you even pass it off to the kids. this year, gorgeous weather, not too hot, not to cool, very low humidity.....its as if we angered the cotton candy muse. there's a photo somewhere of me, as I was trying to get a line of kids away from the machine so I could make my own, and I was talking to

vexed_wench on the phone, I'd worked the machine a million times before during past years.......uhg, just uhg. the photo is the sort of mid point where I made my mother take a pic, but it got worse, I ended up looking much like my arms had pink fur growing on them. I ended up having to take off my shirt, wash off as much as I could in the sink, and wear my jacket as a shirt till my brother was able to go to the house to grab a new one while he took grandmom home. and I still had to take a shower when we got home before I could go crash and sleep off the alcohol. long story short, the machine was messed up enough that my uncle is going to ask for his money back, since no one was really able to have cotton candy. what we did manage to get was clumped up and smooshed.

later that night, one of...well, she's the sister in law to my one aunt, thats how I know her. I don't personally know how much she drank, but apparently it was enough to have her try to stand up, only to fall and come very close to either landing on me and knocking me over, or falling into the fire pit. somehow she managed to land in the middle and only thump against my leg.

the karaoke didn't last as long this year, but then, more of the partier people have young kids now and didn't years before, so *shrug* my one aunts stepson and nephew came as well, and pulled my aunts sons up, and they tried to get their fathers up there, and they sang..well, I can't remember what the song was, but it was funny, mostly cause it was a song that would be called girly, and the two older guys were drunk, and the other two may as well have been, if it weren't for the underage part.

that was last night, tonight we went to a graduation party for one of my cousins who's graduating high school.

his mother set up the party months ago, only to find out later that tonight is prom night, so my cousin had to leave in the middle of his graduation party, go figure.

I tried to take my youngest niece into the pool, and she nearly had a panic attack, and I ended up having to borrow a sheet from my aunt cause though I rolled my pants up as high as I could, and expected to get a wet butt from sitting on the wet cement pool surround, I still manages to soak most of one pant leg and half the other. so I spent a while with a toga look.

and apparently at some point tonight it was decided that we were going to have a gathering over at our house tomorrow, so my mother is now at the store I believe, and I should really go to sleep cause she's gonna make me help, in a whether I want to or not type of way.

well, whether or not I want to continue, my brother and his wife are useing my room, and they want to go to sleep, so got to stop here. I'll prolly post more when I'm able to get the pictures from my dad.
