its a high testament to feline flexibility that she's standing comfortable in all of a 6 inch square of space, at best, on that shelf with her big old self.

XD The tighter the better, it seems.

My cat loved to scare the wits out of me. If I had to find something in the closet, she would just lie veeery still until my fingers suddenly found fur instead of CD-s, and when I tried to pull my hand back (barely containing a scream, even though she did this a hundred times), her claws would dig into my fingers, almost, just almost, drawing blood.

lol! mine don't do that, but they will pop out of some of the smallest little spaces. Since I've put my bed on risers, and started storing stuff under there as well, I've gotten greeted by them under there as well. apparently the risers made under the bed a "proper" space to lounge XD.
