it's brand new, but cause the cases were damaged, I was able to get it cheap
Granted, $16.99 might not seem cheap to some, but when the set goes for about $25 or more at most retail places, I'll take it, damaged case and all. as long as the DVD's play of course ;)

If you end up liking trent/daria and decide to read fic of them I rec are Quite Girl and Teaching Mona by sleepy lotus. they are on ff.net. coure i am sad that she ha a third one but left the fandom o it ill never be finihed D:
