He was also standing up on his hind legs and leaning his front paws on the ledge in front of the tv, like he was thinking about jumping up there, but then I knocked over my drink, and he bolted from the noise ;)

BTW, the show that he's watching? That's Lady and the Tramp. Though I'm not entirely sure if he was trying to get the characters, or the captions at the bottom of the screen.....
