I was going through my files, like you do, trying to clear out any that I didn't need to keep. I seem to need to do that on a more regular basis than I thought, because I have a bunch of things that I don't even remember getting. some stuff I even have thats already up on my website and I don't know why I haven't erased it yet.

so for your entertainment, I present the AIM Convo Comics

These started...about 2 or 3 years ago, when a friend of mine and I were just randomly chatting via AIM and for one reason or another my friend decided to draw these lines into a comic, I figure she did it mostly as a way to keep practice in her drawing skills, yet have something that was quick to draw and funny as well......

I don't recall what my father called me away from the computer for, but it was undoubtedly something that only made sense to him, else I wouldn't have called him a nutty man, and my response in the third panel would be about my actual response to her crack in the second panel.

this one is talking about two different drawings my friend had drawn around that time, the main reason that this conversation made it into a comic is the last panel, where I said that the one drawing wouldn't look so bad if the outfit were longer and the girls boobs weren't so large, to which my friend replied "Tori always says my boobs are too big" and then she was quiet for a while, until we realized how that statement looked just sitting there like that.

this friend of mine, we have an inside joke with voodoo curses, her computer is forever cutting her off of the internet, and going slower than molasses in january, and mine, well, with my old e-mail client it often wouldn't let me access my e-mail, so we'd perform voodoo curses on each others computers to make them behave, this was just the first one that happened.

this was the last one she drew and completed, that I know of. I don't doubt that she actually went down the stairs like she said she did, she's strange like that, as for the whole tissue thing, yeah we were chatting via AIM, but we're very imaginative little buggers, so, thats what we actually typed about that....

I keep trying to get her to draw more of these, but she doesn't have much time to draw anything right now, unless it were a commission piece, and not often when it is.

I could go on, but it'd turn into a pity party about how we don't get to talk as often as we used to, and when we do it's not often for very long. it makes me look forward to this summer, when we're going to take a trip to her parents beach house with several other friends for a week. now if I could just talk her out of about half of the seafood she's planning on....

as if that'll happen.
