Pit of no Return

shinelumiereI think that's what I should rename my craft drawer. Either that, or the pit of semi return, because the true pit of no return would be the box of projects that hide behind the pretty curtain in my closet. the curtain dose it's job too well, I put it up because I leave my closet opem all the time, both because I leave the light on at night so that I can find my way out of my room if I wake up in the middle of the night, and because my cat likes to hide in there.
so, if the drawer has been properly redubbed the pit of semi return, lets see what hangs out in there shall we.
the lighthouse cross-stitch - started a good 3 years ago, I have the lighthouse done minus the outlining, and part of the cliff it sits on....I don't even know if I still have all the floss I need for it to be finished.
the baby bib - ok, this might acctually make it out of the pit and get to who it's going to. it's acctually mostly done, all that's left is a bit of grass and outlining the mouse, and it's not like I could finish it before the kid is born, because I add the birthdate and weight and all that before I give it as a gift. what was the last update on her...I think a week and a half it's at now, till I have a new niece.
the horse cross-stitch......shhh, don't tell the friend who bought it at my insistance and asked me to stitch it for her, but this has moved into the box in the closet.
the coasters, ha, were a graduation present to my brother, he graduated this time last year. although I did finish 6 out of the 10 I set out to make.
the never ending crochet scarf, is what it is, it's almost in the pit of no return, only because it hides behind my pillows on my headboard.
*cries* and oh crap, I keep forgetting to even start my cousins wedding present....ok, that's a lie, the words are done, but the words are the easy part.....I think perhaps it's a good thing I decided not to take classes over the summer.
