Muse Me

otherwise entitled "I'm at a loss for what to write anywhere so you get show and tell"

How can a person have so many muses, and not have one for the task they need at hand.

and these two are my main internet identity, not to say that I speak as them, they just represent my image. they are two sides of the same coin, ones the sailor soldier, the other is the civillian identity. back when I first came to use the internet, and my brother was showing me how to set up an e-mail account and all that good stuff, I was at the hieght of my Sailor Moon fandom, and so I created the name Sailor EarthShine, I thought earthshine sounded cool, and came to it cause I had the word moonshine stuck in my head. it was later pointed out by my friend, who drew these images, that there's an acctual astrological phenomenon called earthshine.

the whole acctual look and image was brought on by the friend who dose these drawings, she had a contest, and I won, so haveing nothing else to request, I told her to create a personification of my screen name, so she did, and created the sailor soldier you see, all I gave her for directions was color and a rough description of myself. this isn't the first drawing of this muse, just my favorite.

where else this muse comes into play? again, the same friend, when she was doodling pictures of me, her and another friend together as something fun for a site the three of us had built together, she took my character, and drew herself and our other friend in similar costumes and we spawned the Sailor Squad. we don't work on the story much any more, but if we ever go back to it, that's where these two would come out.

She dosen't come out often, so I haven't had a chance to fully explore her personality, but if I had to give a name to her trait, it'd be mishevious.

I'm too polite for this muse to come out often, but she would represent the part of me that gets fed up and says kiss my ass. I've been given permission to whip this muse out more often in the presence of my oldest brothers wife, pity I'd get into too much trouble if I listened.


I've got to get my art horse to draw me more pictures of my muses....mine, in this drawing, would be the one in the black glasses. these would be the W.I.C. think M.I.B. and you'll get what it stands for. this would be my muse of protectiveness/muscle....along that line, though I don't use my icon for that, I just like the way the hair looks in this one, since it's closer to how my hair is now.

*gasp* an acctual writing muse, wow. Aiji plays with my kiss my ass muse alot, but that's part of why I love her. she comes out to play with me when I write the fan fic that jetster and I co-author....you can find it through my site Silently Dreaming, it's down toward the bottom of the navigation menu there, I think the link banner I use has a black hair tie flying through the air. fair warning though, it's a yuri/shonen-ai story...I don't think its acctually yuri, cause it's never gotten really graphic, but some know one term better than the other, so I call it both to make sure. it needs edited so badly, the guy we had, he...I never asked him about it again, so I suppose it's my fault there.

*shrug* muses, personifications of different aspect of my personality, call them what you will, why don't I have one that tells me what to write for school papers, it can't be that bloody difficult.

That's cool that you have pictures for each part of yourself/or your muses. Seeing as how I can't really draw, I don't have pictures of mine. *laughs*
