shinelumiereYou'd think that by now, after working the whole day clearing out dads tool room and other random bits and pieces of the rest of the mess from the flooding, I would have crashed shortly after my head hit my pillow....
Not so much.
somewhere around midnight my dad knocked on my door to let me know moms car had died, and he was gonna go pick her up. Not that he has to, but it's nice to know when a person's not in the house anymore. I said k, g'night, and continued on my way to dream land
shortly after this, I moved to roll to my other side, and the blessing that is a charlie horse struck in my right thigh.
Charlie Horses are magical at waking people up, no matter how asleep/tired they are.
The best way to one of those out of your leg, one it's unlocked, at least for me, is to walk around. So, I walked a bit, emptied and reloaded the dishwasher, reloaded it, switched the washer and dryer loads again.....basically, bits and pieces to work on cleaning up the mess left by the flood.
after an hour or two of that, I sat down in my chair to watch some mindless tv, and hope to crash there, as I often do.
about an hour later, again, just as I was on the verge of falling asleep, Mr Charlie Horse struck again, this time in my left leg calf......
it's like my body's aiming for symmetry or something, really. by this time, my parents had gotten home and gone to bed, and I'm surprised they didn't hear me yell, considering the direct view of their bedroom door from my chair.
So, now I've flipped another set of wash and dry loads, and if I weren't so tired, and thought I could carry them up the stars without dropping anything, I seriously considered gathering dishes from the downstairs kitchen to finish filling the dishwasher....
Also *knocks on wood* LJ seems to have sorted out the posting editor again.....>.>...
