That a bunch of old toiletries thrown together in a bag to be thrown out could make such a nauseating smell...
Back when I lived in NJ, the place we lived was a little 2 bedroom apartment, so in the bathroom I ended up with a cabinet...for all the crap that my mother has that she doesn't use, you'd think I could've gotten a drawer, but whatever.
the point of that is to say that while I had just that cabinet, I was trying to be thrifty with my space and I stored all my extra, not often used stuff in this travel case I have, it had compartments, kept everything from trying to run away when I'd open the cabinet. this was about 3 years ago, that's about how long it's been since we moved from that apartment into our house here in PA, and that case has been sitting in the top of my closet ever since...apparently, deodorant and such can go bad, who knew.
I suppose it also shows how often I use that case for actual travel, but honestly, I wouldn't be using it now if my regular one hadn't ripped, and I can't fix it without taking apart the whole seam....maybe another time.
*shakes head* I finally finished the last HP book, and I finally gave my friend, who finished it withing about 8 or 9 hours of getting her hands on a copy, permission to bombard me with all the fan art she's found since then...apparently the whole fandom reads ten times faster than I do, for all this art that she's found, ah well *grin* I can hold knowledge over my little brother now, who's copy only arrived today, cause the mail system was trying to torment him.
