Its not even Friday....
Feb. 25th, 2011 03:02 amYet it feels like it's been a really long weekend or something. it really feels like it should be Sunday night.
Wednesday morning, we had to head out by 7, 7:30 at the latest - mom had her own Dr appointment at 10 and I was having fasting blood work fun -, to get my blood work done so they'd have time to get it processed to have it back to my Dr for my appointment Thursday morning (slackers didn't have it back, or the PA I saw last time didn't estimate right, whatever)
( I now sport this bruise... )
that was about as fun as watching paint dry but it has to be done. I got to hang out in the waiting room at moms Dr, and then we went and ran errands. We did much the same today, only it was my Dr at 10, instead of moms. while I know it was better that we broke them up over the two days, cause mom's still getting over her pneumonia, it still feels like we did a lot more than we did, and did it all in one day.
Today/Thursday was my younger brothers birthday. he's now 29, and we like to poke fun that from his birthday till mine, we're the same age ;) Mom asked him what he wanted for his birthday, and he told her a wii, or lunch...mom laughed, and said see you for lunch XD
while he got other things for his birthday, this one was the most amusing, as you can tell from the picture. It glows in the dark too. He plans to wear it to work tomorrow

vexed_wench, shockingly dear wife, I own sheets that aren't purple. what is the world coming to? XD
but I think the cream goes very will with my new bedding set, which is why I told mom cream or a light purple, when she was asking everyone for sheet colors for Christmas ;)
