We've all played the board game Risk right. well, I should say that, because I hadn't played it till I was almost 20.

wether you have or haven't dosen't matter, nor dose it matter wether you've even heard of it.....ok, maybe that helps.

basic overview for anyone who hasn't.

you have a map of the world, with territories, you start out the game with the players all owning different territiories and the whole point (of the main, base game, cause there's many alterations you can do) is to conquer all the territories and own the whole world, hence it being called the game of world domination.

the board game version takes for ever and an eternity, though you can set up shorter games too, we just never have.

the computer game version...*snorts* it's so dang easy to stack the odds in you favor, if your playing it with just you as a regular player, and your playing agains 2 computer players....

for example, you can change the land values for owning a whole continent, and you can attack mutiple times from different areas on the same turn......*shakes head*

you'll see in my scree shot.

this is after I'd held the 2 computer players in south america, letting them battle each other, while I drew all my spare troops that were still scattered around the globe, then I killed off the one, and let the other one build himself up, so I could move more troops that were still scattered around.....I think I randomly combined my 2 larger groups of troops for the fun of it and let my enemy think he could get away...and he could havem if he'd taken his whole group and gone on a rampage through all my areas that have 1 troop in them.

as to the color of the lands, it's set to tell me where I have border threats, so if you got the game, it's depend on what view you set it on.

The point of my story is, why play the computer version, when the board version is so much more fun.
