Odd Bird, Good Duck...

My websites are in such sad shape, it's not even funny, at least not to me. Considering I'm the one who has to go through all the code and fix any broken links or images, it wouldn't be funny would it.

sometimes I wonder why I have a website in any form, but every time I talk about closeing it down my friend stops me and somehow talks me out of it....and I suppose that it shouldn't matter wether I leave it sit there or not, but it bothers me.

Silently Dreaming is probably the worst off, as far as broken links and images go, but one dose what one can with free servers. Yahoo dosen't allow direct linking, wether or not you own both accounts, or they didn't alow it the last time I tried. and the server I use that dose allow direct linking dosen't allow anything over 250 kb to be direct linked....they have a thing for the number 250, since thier server name is 250free.com.... or  dot something anyway.

Bamanka Face....I'm very seriously considering getting rid of that one, if my cousins don't start comming up with new stuff for it, I only promised to maintain the site....well, after they dared me to build the thing in the first place. it could use a more site specific layout though, not some generic thing pulled off of a graphics site.

Over The Moon, is acctually fairly up to date, the image page could use better thumbnails, and there may be a few drawings that aren't posted on the site.....and ok, the story needs edited to heck and back, but it's there...I'm just waiting for Jet to finish her new chapter before I post the last one I wrote, cause I can't write fanfics right now, maybe over the summer.

The Sailor Squad, that one makes me giggle, for it's mary sueish qualitys, if you know any of the three of us who own it*grins* blareingly mary sueish. that ones not my fault either, I'm niether author nor artist, again, I just maintain the site, which I think I checked recently....but Bunny "promised" some sort of surprise for that world, we'll see, I'll have to pest her when we go to the beach.

and here I sit whining that my sites are behind, and I go about and start another site *shakes head* I'll never learn shall I, I suppose I'm lucky that Bunny talks me out of most of the site ideas I say "oo, wouldn't a site about this be cool" I do the same for her. mayhap tis why we have so many sites we work on together....

whining aside, all I can say is that Yahoo must think I'm a looney bird, with the 5 accounts I've got, 1 for each site, they probably wonder where I keep all my images, since they're not clogging up thier bandwidth *grins* I'm a devious little bugger that way. I only learned from the master. now if I could just figure out how to get Yahoo to accept my zip files like it's supposed to, I could get somewhere with my broken image links, because I shudder at the thought of going through my links list looking for broken links there.
